"Legend tells the best samurai of all time, in his last days, left his powerful sword to the yokai, forest spirits, for them to guard it from wrong hands. If anyone ever dared to steal it, he would be chased by the yokai until bring the sword back where it belongs. As punishment for his venture, the thief would be turned to yokai. For centuries, many warriors have tried to win the sword of the yokai. Many are already part of the woods."

Yokai Sword is a fast paced 2D hack and slash. You have to control a skillful ninja (four different playable characters with unique attack and special attack) and defeat waves of enemies. Each wave consists of sets of yokais and a boss. The series has been carefully designed to create a satisfying game experience and are slightly different in each game and there is also a system that randomly generates skills levels which makes it even more fun. And if not exciting enough player only has one life point, if he dies he starts again. With five intense modes.

Yokai Sword was originally conceived as a fast played iPad game with pixel art graphics. But the concept took such a large volume and we have proposed launch for Windows, MAC, Linux, PSVita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Very soon we launch a Kickstarter and Greenlight campaign.

  • Versus mode up to four players. Players can attack, block and dodge.
